A new year, infinite possibilities

Happy New Year! After a difficult 2020, I'm looking forward to this new year with great optimism. So many "news" - so many possibilities!

I'm experimenting with various ink techniques and surfaces and adding mediums like acrylic paint, acrylic ink and glazes to my pieces. It's an ongoing process and journey to find my own unique style. I appreciate your interest and support of this journey - there's so much more to come in 2021.

Look for monthly releases of specific collections in my Studio Store in a variety of sizes and price points. I want to share my art with as many people as possible. Please contact me if you'd like me to paint something special for you in a particular size or color palette.

As I ease back into live workshops this month, the health and safety of everyone is a priority and this requires some new considerations. Smaller class sizes, to allow for physical distancing, wearing masks, and not sharing supplies (as was done in the past) will be the norm for quite a while. However, it will in no way hinder our opportunities to create, which is so important to our mental health. #createsafely

In addition to these changes, I've found a new "home base" in Brookfield, Wisconson. I'm excited to be working with Cheryl Axt-Schuldt, owner of Art-N-Soul Design Studio, to teach in her incredibly inspirational space. I will also be selling my artwork, alcohol ink supplies, and kits related to my workshops at the studio. Consider it your one-stop-shop for instruction and supplies.

Cheryl is an artist and instructor, and between us, we offer a wide variety of classes and events. Watch for our collaborations in mixed media, fluid art, and unique educational experiences coming this year. We share the joy of creating and inspiring others to find that spark in themselves.

I'll be teaching in Madison at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in April and May, and am open to invitations to present or teach at other venues - just reach out.

Another "new".... I'm going to be a Grandma for the first time - our daughter is due next month. More adventures to come for sure!
