About the event
Join us for a live, 3-hour workshop exploring THREE different types of fluid art mediums:
FLORAL CIRCLES WITH ALCOHOL INK - with Kimberly Deene Langlois
In this workshop, we’ll be painting with alcohol ink and creating a beautiful floral
composition on black round synthetic paper. We’ll explore various ways of creating loose florals that glide across the page using gravity and air to move the ink. This medium has a fascinating way of naturally blooming and creating unique shapes and because of this, every painting will be unique. You’ll learn how to direct the inks in subtle ways that bring life to your designs. We’ll also apply detailed accents to our paintings in ways that add lovely dimension and interest.
BONUS: Learn how to finish your artwork by sealing it, adhering it to a cradled wood panel, and finishing the sides.
